About Technicians Training Centre
EOD Technicians Training Center (EOD TTC) was set up in 2009 in Kościerzyna as an integral part of JAKUSZ company. The aim of the Centre is conducting courses and specialized training in field of land clearing of ERW, investment supervision of the work executed by demining companies and participation in humanitarian demining of infected countries.
Mission of EOD TTC is SECURITY OF DEMINING WORKS
Legal basis for the functioning of the Center:
- Regulation of Polish Minister of Economy of 28.01.2009 on the training and testing of persons with access to explosives for civil uses,
- Statement No 4321-I/1/2009 of 15.07.2009 that the EOD TTC is registered as the educational unit on the basis of the national regulations.
Scientific and technical background of the Center:
- experienced teachers (among specialists cooperating with EOD TTC there are participants of military missions, courses organized by the UN and NATO and also operators of demining in Poland, Afghanistan and Iraq),
- training blasting site enabling work with explosives,
- modern metal detectors of leading world manufacturers (CEIA, Foerster),
- the richest Polish collection of original exhibits such as land mines, artillery projectiles, grenades, bombs, torpedoes, missiles, etc. derived from the times of Napoleon until today - an effective help in learning of the construction and properties of military explosive items,
- specialized equipment for transport, storage and disposal of hazardous objects.
Moreover we cooperate with international institutions and organizations specializing in EOD and humanitarian demining (e.g. GICHD) and other European training centers (e.g. MTM Dawn from Netherlands and Sprengschule form Germany).
